Edward Scissorhands, China Moon, Shakma, and seaQuest DSV.  As a lighting technician, Jonathan worked on feature films including; Any Given Sunday, Ali, Monster, Things Behind the Sun, Jeepers Creepers, Basic, Bad Boys 2, and The Punisher. He also worked in episodic television including; CSI: Miami and Sheena. Jonathan has  worked with many notable directors of photography such as Laszlo Kovacs, Thomas Ackerman, Steven Bernstein, Bill Butler, and Conrad Hall.

Jonathan opened his own company, Snow Bird Pictures, Inc. which allowed him to begin producing and directing award winning documentaries, commercials and infomercials which have earned him national attention. The Lutheran Faith: A Mighty Fortress, produced for Vox Visuals, garnered a national bronze Telly Award and an Addy Award. Holy Baptism: Water of Life, also for Vox Visuals, received an Addy Award. Dare To Be Lutheran, a documentary produced for Higher Things Youth Organization, received a national silver Telly Award and a silver Addy.

Over the years, Jonathan has traveled to Africa and Cambodia to produce and direct the documentary, Lutheran Heritage Foundation, which is being used internationally as a fundraising tool to provide religious material to various people groups in their native languages. 

 

​Jonathan’s creative expertise has made him highly sought after by companies that want to tell their story. Today, Jonathan is using his knowledge of film and video production as a prominent high-resolution video engineer and camera director.​

Jonathan Sawyer will continue to be prominent in central Florida as a producer and director in the television broadcast and live event market. The future holds many promising projects that will demonstrate his capabilities as a producer and director.
